Tony Iommi From The Dark CD Album

LABEL: BMG
RELEASE DATE: 10/23/2026
VARIANT: CD

Twenty-one years since his last solo record, Tony Iommi is back. His first full length release since Black Sabbath's final album, 13, gathers eight inventive, expansive and absorbing tracks made with long-term producer Mike Exeter, and it counts among 2026's defining rock albums.

Sonically heavy and rich in musical textures, the album realizes a musical vision long-in-the-making and includes some of the finest guitar performances of his career. Lead single 'World Alone' is fast paced and guitar driven, with Tony's signature monster riffs throughout. Heavy, yet catchy, and uplifting thanks to lyricist and vocalist Jorn Lande. Founding member of Black Sabbath, the godfather of heavy metal, classic Iommi: all the hallmarks of his legendary guitar work with a contemporary twist.
