Bryan Sammis told Coup de Main that everyone in the group pushes their own emotions out through their instruments, which isn't always the easiest thing to do. As for Jesse Rutherford, plenty of his lyrics come off the top of his head the first time he hears a song. That's what keeps them natural, Sammis said.
