STEVIE WONDER Songs in the Key of Life 2LP Plus 7"

LABEL: MOTOWN
STREET DATE: 05/05/2009
VARIANT: Black Vinyl 2LP + 7"

2 LP + 7". Mid-'70s, full artistic control from Motown, and Stevie went with it — day and night in the studio. The sessions behind this double album turned out one of the most successful records of all time, and a personal favorite of Stevie's as well as Michael Jackson's, Prince's and generations of musicians and fans who came after.

This Motown reissue is the version to own: double 180-gram vinyl plus the bonus 7" EP that came with the original release — Saturn, Ebony Eyes, All Day Sucker and Easy Goin' Evening (My Mama's Call). Those sit alongside twin #1 smashes Sir Duke and I Wish, the hits Another Star and As, and his instant classic Isn't She Lovely.
