SKILLET After the Storm EP on Black Vinyl LP

LABEL: Hear It Loud
RELEASE DATE: 10/09/2026
VARIANT: Black Vinyl LP

SKILLET tap into surviving the worst of it, dusting off and stepping back in for another round. Heavy guitars push forward, and the hooks are built for stadiums. The quartet — John Cooper on lead vocals and bass, Korey Cooper on guitar, keys and production, Jen Ledger on drums and vocals, Seth Morrison on lead guitar — has sold just shy of 22 million albums and averages 12 million monthly Spotify listeners, with dozens of placements in sports, film and television. On their 2026 independent EP, After The Storm, SKILLET decided to get heavier and punch harder.

John calls the EP special because it "reignites what SKILLET was always meant to be" — music that lifts people out of dark times. He needed that lift himself while writing these songs. Rock, he says, was always how he faced the next day without feeling so alone, and he wants this record to remind listeners that they can make it.
