VARIANT. The set arrives as a Green/Yellow/Brown Color-in-Color Vinyl 2LP.

Once Max Bemis signed with the label, he started writing songs for his band's Doghouse debut. Self-created pressure pushed him to stretch the band's sonic boundaries and mature their sound, folding in math-rock, indie-pop and theatrical pomp. He and Linder also began hunting for a producer. Several producers came and went before they settled on Tim O'Heir and Stephen Trask. Bemis wrestled with different ideas for the record and landed on "the artistic struggle, the fact that every creative person has this sick ambition to affect some sort of change in society with their art, to be more than just a guy in a band or a poet or a sculptor."
