NOUVELLE VAGUE A Date with DEPECHE Mode 黑色黑胶 LP

LABEL: Le Label
RELEASE DATE: 10/30/2026
VARIANT: Black Vinyl LP

Two decades on from the debut that rewired post-punk, Nouvelle Vague sets off in a new direction. A Date with Depeche Mode takes on a catalogue almost nobody else would dare touch, and does it from Rio de Janeiro and Paris. Thirteen Depeche Mode classics get rebuilt as intimate, cinematic songs. Machines give way to warm, organic playing, and the writing underneath these familiar tracks finally gets heard.

An international cast of guests carries the vocals: Skye Edwards (Morcheeba), Beth Hirsch, Flavia Coelho, Mélanie Pain, Phoebe Killdeer, Fredrika Stahl and more. Every track pairs one voice with one song, in the Nouvelle Vague manner you already know. "Enjoy the Silence" and "Personal Jesus" sit alongside "Stripped," "Just Can't Get Enough" and the fan favourite "Ice Machine," all filtered through bossa nova, jazz, French pop and Latin touches without losing their emotional weight.
