LAGWAGON 'HOSS' LP (Beer Vinyl)

LABEL: Fat Wreck Chords
RELEASE DATE: 09/25/2026
VARIANT: Beer Vinyl LP

Lagwagon’s third album plays out par excellence as a bonanza of speed-forward skate-punk songs. Throughout, vocalist Joey Cape unique blend of pathos and smart-ass sarcasm explores mid-20s relationship drama (“Name Dropping”), drunken malaise (“Sleep”), regrettable moustaches (“Razor Burn”) and hella tragic haircuts (“Shaving Your Head”). Less metallic and noodly than its predecessors, and produced during the mid Nineties punk explosion, Hoss is a melodically refined but still energy-jolted outing — and one of their best, to boot. A highly intoxicating Lagwagon outing, ready to be enjoyed on “Beer”-colored vinyl.
