10,000 MANIACS 'UNPLUGGED' 2LP

LABEL: Elektra / WEA
RELEASE DATE: 09/06/2024
VARIANT: Black Vinyl 2LP

Spread across two black vinyl LPs, this remastered and expanded pressing of MTV Unplugged brings back the record that sold better than anything else 10,000 Maniacs ever put out. Originally released in October 1993, it captures the band's final recordings with Natalie Merchant before she went solo. Fresh remastering is part of the package, and the bonus tracks feature guest vocalist David Byrne sitting in with the group.

Acoustic readings of songs from three earlier albums make up the set — In My Tribe (1987), Blind Man's Zoo (1989) and Our Time in Eden (1992). You'll find the cover of "Because The Night" alongside hits like "Trouble Me," "These Are Days" and "Candy Everybody Wants," plus the ones longtime fans always ask for: "Hey Jack Kerouac" and "Like The Weather."
