Alice in Chains’ 1996 performance for MTV Unplugged is one for the ages, an emotive, awe-inspiringreimagining of the Seattle grunge greats’ heaviest hits. Performed at the Majestic Theater in Brooklyn, the concert delivers raw and vulnerable performances of calmer cuts likes “Nutshell” and “Heaven Beside You.” It also transforms once room-rattling anthems like “Rooster” and “Would?” into newfound things of tragic beauty. It was lead vocalist Layne Staley’s final public performance with the group, an unexpected but immaculate farewell. Unplugged has been repressed and spread out across two plates of rooster-combed “Ruby” vinyl.

This exclusive vinyl variant is on “Ruby.” Order yours today!
