Stockholm’s thrown have climbed fast. Since forming, the four-piece have built a following on metallic hardcore, crushing grooves and nu-metal intensity, gathering more than 227 million Spotify streams along the way. Their 2022 debut EP EXTENDED PAIN stayed inside Spotify’s Global Metal Top 200 for close to a full year and now sits past 80 million streams, with tracks like "grayout," "fast forward" and "parasite" laying down the pattern: short, explosive cuts built on suffocating riffs and raw vocals. Debut album EXCESSIVE GUILT landed in August 2024 on Arising Empire and has passed 120 million Spotify streams. "on the verge" leads the way at almost 60 million, "guilt" is beyond 25 million and "backfire" is nearing 20 million. Tours across Europe, North America and Australia followed, sharing stages with Knocked Loose, Fit For A King, Emmure, Counterparts, While She Sleeps and Wage War. At the Heavy Music Awards the band took Best Breakthrough Live Artist in 2024, then Best Breakthrough Album for EXCESSIVE GUILT in 2025. Next comes the sophomore album UNWANTED, with "split," "rehearsed" and "critic" already pulling millions of streams. Over 227 million Spotify streams, award-winning records and a live reputation earned on stages worldwide — thrown aren’t a promising newcomer anymore.
