The SMASHING PUMPKINS 'The AEROPLANE Flies High' 5LP Vinyl Box Set

LABEL: Virgin Records
RELEASE DATE: 12/18/2026
VARIANT: Black Vinyl 5LP Box Set

It began life as a 5CD deluxe box set on July 23, 1996. Now The Aeroplane Flies High is back on wax for the first time in more than a decade, rebuilt to mirror the admired 2013 5LP edition. Inside sits every Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness single release, joined by a deep run of B-sides, outtakes and covers. 33 tracks on 180-gram heavyweight vinyl, with “Set the Ray to Jerry,” “Cherry,” and “The Boy” among the rarities. Few stretches of the band's career were that productive.
