1973 found the Byrds back in the studio. Roger McGuinn, David Crosby, Chris Hillman, Gene Clarke and Michael Clark, the original 1965 superstar line-up, cut what turned out to be their last album, with Crosby producing and the record simply titled "Byrds." It landed as one of the year's most anticipated releases.
Friday Music has spent years putting out rock records for serious collectors, and the label now turns to the 1973 Byrds classic, that final reunion set, on 180 gram audiophile vinyl.
Joe Reagoso mastered it at Friday Music Studios. The pressing runs for a very limited time on 180 gram violet audiophile vinyl.
The sleeve keeps the original gatefold art, with photography by Henry Diltz.
