SUFFOCATION ...Of the Dark Light Turquoise Vinyl LP

LABEL: Nuclear Blast
RELEASE DATE: 09/18/2026
VARIANT: Turquoise Vinyl LP

Released in 2017, SUFFOCATION's ...Of the Dark Light turned out to be the last studio album with Frank Mullen singing. He fronted these New York death metal veterans, a band known for defining brutal, slamming and technical styles in a way nobody else had managed since 1989.

Ricky Myers took the mic after him, making his debut on 2023's Hymns from the Apocrypha, while Mullen's own send-off here is a prime performance.

Flawless, complex and pummelling: this is death metal that gets hands chopping and necks breaking, and it's finally back on coloured vinyl.
