RELEASE date: 11/07/2025
VARIANT: Black Vinyl LP

Sombr is Shane Boose, a 20-year-old singer, songwriter and producer from the Lower East Side who started cutting tracks in his bedroom while studying classical composition at LaGuardia High School. The viral hit "caroline" on 2022 changed things fast. Since then he's passed 50 million monthly Spotify listeners, sold out shows around the world and played his first late-night set on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

I Barely Know Her is the debut album, written entirely by Sombr and co-produced with Tony Berg (Phoebe Bridgers, Boygenius). He's now based in Los Angeles and signed to Warner Records, and the MTV VMA Best New Artist nominee has more than 2 billion career streams behind him, a record-breaking #1 at Alternative Radio and chart-topping singles in "back to friends," "undressed" and "12 to 12." The songs stay intimate and self-written, circling young love and heartbreak.
