QUICKSAND 'Manic COMPRESSION' LP Tigers Eye Orange Vinyl 30th Anniversary Deluxe

UTF-8 LABEL: Iodine Records

RELEASE DATE: 10/09/2026

VARIANT: Tigers Eye Orange Vinyl LP

Thirty years on, Manic Compression still lands like a dropped amp. Iodine Recordings marks the anniversary with a Deluxe Edition pressed on Tigers Eye Orange Vinyl, and the twelve tracks hold up — hardcore ferocity, metal weight and alt-rock melody squeezed into one tight coil.

Jack Shirley remastered the album from the original master tapes, and Melinda Beck's artwork returns restored. Both details matter. This was a long out-of-print record, and the reissue hands it a proper second life without sanding off the edges.

Quicksand put the album out in 1995, and its fingerprints sit all over the heavy music that followed. Play "Backward" or "Landmine Spring" once and the reason is obvious.
