Lucy Dacus comes from Virginia, and Rolling Stone has called her "one of the best songwriters of her generation." Four full-length albums carry her name: 2016's No Burden, 2018's Historian, 2021's Home Video and 2025's Forever Is A Feeling. Then came 2023, the year she spent with boygenius, her band alongside Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker; their album the record drew wide acclaim and brought the trio three GRAMMY Awards.
Variety described her newest, Forever Is A Feeling, as "the most romantic record you might hear," and it reached #1 on both the Billboard Rock Album Chart and the Billboard Folk/Americana Album Chart. Her live reputation grew alongside it, with a globe-spanning tour that sold out Radio City, Red Rocks and the O2 Academy Brixton in London.
