VARIANT: Emerald/White Splatter Vinyl LP
White splatter across emerald wax, pressed as an indie retail exclusive. La Dispute came together in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2004 and has chased that same tense sound since. Jordan Dreyer handles vocals, Chad Sterenberg and Corey Stroffolino play guitar, Brad Vander Lugt drums and Adam Vass plays bass. Five studio albums sit behind them, among them "Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair" (2008), "Wildlife" (2011) and "Panorama" (2019). Loss, grief and the tangled parts of human relationships thread through the songs, often told as linked stories. Ask anyone who's caught them live.
