Burnover, Greg Freeman's breakthrough record, earned a spot on The New York Times Best Albums of 2025 list and Pitchfork's 'Best New Album' nod. He was hardly finished with it before writing his next one, All Set The Bone.
Here he leans into friction rather than avoiding it. Scant rehearsal time and urgent, self-appointed deadlines pushed the sessions along, and the record came together quickly in a real Hollywood studio with John Congleton, one of rock's best modern architects. Thirteen songs fill this double LP, which sits in a gatefold sleeve and comes with a special belly band.
