Watford, 2005. That's where Gallows formed, and they hit a UK scene that had gone soft. Everyone else was polishing their sound for radio; this band brought blood, sweat and real danger back to the stage. Frank Carter sang up front, young and incandescent, with guitarist Laurent Barnard, bassist Stuart Gili-Ross, rhythm guitarist Steph Carter and drummer Lee Barratt behind him. Their debut, Orchestra Of Wolves, landed on 25th September 2006 and blew the cobwebs off UK hardcore.
Recording was paid for out of the band's own pocket, with Kevin Banks behind the desk, and the album came out through In At The Deep End Records. It caught fire fast. Word of mouth alone was enough to earn it an international reissue.
