FAKE NAMES 'PUNK RUINS' Clear Vinyl LP Third Studio Album

LABEL: Epitaph
RELEASE DATE: 10/23/2026
VARIANT: Clear Vinyl LP

Punk Ruins is the third studio album from Fake Names, out October 23 on Epitaph Records. Five people who helped build punk and hardcore put decades of experience into ten-plus tracks that sound like nobody else.

Seventies UK punk runs into classic hardcore and guitar-heavy power-rock here. Sharp melodies sit next to explosive guitars and driving rhythms, and the whole thing moves with the restless energy that makes good punk stick. The lineup reads like a history of the underground: Brian Baker (Minor Threat, Bad Religion, Dag Nasty), Michael Hampton (S.O.A., Embrace), Dennis Lyxzen (Refused, INVSN, The (International) Noise Conspiracy), Johnny Temple (Girls Against Boys, Soulside) and Mario Rubalcaba (Rocket From The Crypt, OFF!). They first joined forces in 2016, and Brian Baker calls it a "mutual admiration society." Once they were in the same room, the chemistry clicked fast. Unlike any single one of their past bands, Punk Ruins connects punk's raw past to what's happening now.
