ALABAMA SHAKES 'I Must Be DREAMING' CD Edition

Label: Island
RELEASE Release date: 08/28/2026
VARIANT: CD

I Must Be Dreaming is Alabama Shakes' first full-length in over a decade, and it picks up where 2015’s Sound & Color left off, then pushes further into a visceral, psychedelic soul sound. Recording happened at Nashville's Sound Emporium Studios and Blackbird Studio, with Shawn Everett producing alongside the band once again. Loud passages still hit hard. In between them, though, the songs open into lusher and stranger atmospheres, and the control of space is noticeably sharper.
