Guitarist Matt Fox figured Shai Hulud would never get past a demo tape or a 7", and he was way off. The band went on to tour nationally and abroad with plenty of hardcore's biggest names, survived multiple lineup changes, and wrote lyrics that helped fans push through rough stretches of their own lives. Where it started is still worth hearing: "A Profound Hatred Of Man" laid down a technical hardcore sound that shaped the whole metalcore scene and pushed past the usual lyrical boundaries. This new pressing comes on translucent orange vinyl.
