SatchVai is Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, and The Sea Of Emotion marks the first full studio album the two guitar legends have recorded together. Both men shaped generations of players through their solo work, and their shared history runs from stages around the world right back to the lessons a teenage Vai took from Satriani.

That history is more than five decades old now. Here the pair finally put their separate voices into one set of brand-new songs, with Satriani's melodic instinct meeting Vai's adventurous, expressive playing on "Mayhem", "Bronco Freight Train", "Dancing", "I Wanna Play My Guitar" featuring Glenn Hughes and the three-part title suite.
